Gaurav Shah is the CEO of Al Rajhi Capital. He joined the firm in 2009 and has over 20 years of experience in the asset management and investment banking industry.
Prior to joining ARC, Gaurav held senior management positions at Credit Suisse, Morgan Stanley, and Deutsche Bank, his last one being Managing Director and Global Head of Product & Investment Solutions at Credit Suisse Global Investors, based in London & Zurich.
Gaurav holds an MBA from the Manchester Business School and a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance from University of Bombay.
Gaurav was named Middle East CEO of the Year in 2012 by the Euromoney Global Investor.
Megren Al Kulaibi is the Head of Asset Management in Al Rajhi Capital. He joined the company in 2015 as Head of Equity Funds and has over 12 years of experience in Asset Management.
Prior to joining Al Rajhi Capital, Megren has worked at HSBC Saudi Arabia and Albilad Capital where he has managed a number of mandates focused on the GCC and the Saudi market, including funds, corporate client managed accounts and internal bank equity portfolios. Moreover, he was a member of the investment committee, setting strategic allocations, stock picking and formulating and structuring new equity products.
Megren holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Miami.
Chahir Hosni is the Head of Brokerage of Al Rajhi Capital. He joined the company in 2018 and has over 20 years of experience in the Brokerage and Asset Management industry.
Prior to joining Al Rajhi Capital, Chahir held senior positions in leading financial institutions specializing in MENA equities, most recently was Head of Institutional Desk at ADCB Securities where he was responsible for setting up and establishing the business. Other roles that Chahir assumed included heading the GCC brokerage business at EFG Hermes for 6 years and Portfolio Manager at ABN Amro Delta.
Prior to joining Al Rajhi Capital, Mazen worked for Alistithmar Capial as Head of their Sell-Side research team and with Bank Degroof in Belgium with their Asset Management and Sell-Side research departments covering European Conglomerates.
Mazen’s deep understanding and knowledge of the Saudi economy has made him a key public figure in the international media for covering the Saudi economy and markets.
He has a Bachelor degree in Engineering from King Saud University and completed his Masters in Finance from Institute Superior, France.
Ahmed is the CFO of Al Rajhi Capital, and has more than 14 years of experience in banking, finance, and auditing. Prior to his current role at ARC, Ahmed held the position of CFO at Al Rajhi Bank – Jordan branches, and has previously worked at Al Rajhi Bank KSA, PwC, Deloitte, and The Saudi Fund for Development.
Ahmad holds an MBA from Southeast Missouri State University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from King Saud University. Ahmed is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from California Board of Accountancy, and has attended the CFO Executive Program at Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
Prior to joining Al Rajhi Capital, he worked for the Capital Market Authority. Tarik brings more than 14 years of professional experience in various compliance related functions with specialized focus in financial industry, including Corporate Governance, Investment Banking, Asset Management and Brokerage.
Tarik holds an MBA from the Missouri state university and a Bachelor degree in Accounting from King Saud University.
Mohammed brings his experience of more than 17 years when he joined Al Rajhi Capital as its Chief Compliance Officer and Head of Anti-Money Laundering in 2009.
Prior to joining ARC, Mohammed has held several positions including Chief Compliance Officer and Head of Anti-Money Laundering at Riyad Capital and before that as a Risk Manager at Samba Financial Group.
Mohammed holds a Bachelor degree in Business Administration and a High Diploma in Compliance from the International Compliance Association (ICA) and the University of Manchester."
Having joined Al Rajhi Capital in 2010, Waleed currently holds the position of Head of Human Resources and Administration, where he manages recruitment, training and development, employee relations and compensation, in addition to administration services.
Waleed brings over 15 years of experience in the areas of recruitment, talent training and HR development.
Prior to joining Al Rajhi Capital, Waleed has worked in the training department at the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Washington DC.
Waleed holds a Master degree in Human Resources Management from Webster University and a Bachelor degree in Business Administration from Strayer University, USA .
