​The Saudi Stock Exchange – Tadawul launched Nomu - Parallel Market on February 26th, 2017 as a parallel equity market with lighter listing requirements that serves as an alternative platform for companies to go public, and the investment in this market is restricted to Qualified Investors.

The main objectives of establishing Nomu – Parallel Market:
  • Additional source of funding for issuers to access capital.
  • Increased diversification and deepening the capital market.

You can apply for eligibility to trade in Nomu – Parallel Market, if one of the following criteria is met:
  • You have conducted transactions in security markets of not less than 40 million Saudi Riyals in total, and have made not less than 10 transactions in each quarter during the last 12 months.
  • Net asset value of not less than 5 million Saudi Riyals.
  • You work or previously have worked in the financial services industry for at least 3 years.
  • You hold the General Securities Qualification Certificate (CME-1) which is issued by the Capital Market Authority.
  • You hold an internationally recognized professional certificate that specializes in securities. ​
