Murabaha is considered one of the services AL Rajhi Capital provides to its customers to make investment easier and lucrative for investors who are searching for leverage in their portfolios. Through Murabaha, stocks are purchased and then
transferred to customers’ portfolios through deferred payment for a year. Customers pay for this facility with quarterly, semi-annual, or annual installments, according to the concerned committee’s decision, and with a specified profit
added to the loan amount. This process is called “Deferred Payment purchasing of stocks.”
The amount given to purchase the stocks varies according to the buyer’s request; there are minimum portfolio requirements, while the guarantee amount depends on the stocks used as collateral.
